NexBank Comes Through for Slain and Injured Officers
Sometimes back, Dallas experienced one of the darkest nights in recent times when a sniper shot senselessly at police officers, killing and wounding several of them. Banks in the larger Texas decided to offer financial support to families of the officers affected by that downtown sniper attack. Speaking after making a donation on behalf of NexBank, CEO John Holt condemned the senseless attack on officers in their line of duty. He also was impressed by the way the Dallas community reacted to the heinous act, noting that they made a statement in the entire State of Texas. Holt acknowledged that correcting the damage wasn’t a possibility but by supporting the officers helped to lessen the pain their families were going through at that difficult moment.
